“Argue for your limitations, and sure enough they’re yours.”– Richard Bach, Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah
A short quote. And one of my favorites.
Arguing for one’s limitations implies a strong belief in them. When you start believing in them, you condition your attitude towards life. And when that happens, your (supposed) limitation seems so true you don’t dare go anywhere near it; you lose the courage to change things in that sphere of life.
Hence, believe in yourself. The sky is the limit, as they say. Don’t be afraid and take charge of things. The rest will help itself.
