  1. Burning bridges behind us, over a time will give us a feeling as if we are moving ahead in a dark night without any light. Where we can’t look at the future and our past shows us nothing but a bleak emptiness. The dread of this feeling affects even our present. Relationships of all kinds are the bridges which keep us connected not just to places and people but also to ourselves from different periods of time.
